The National Stadium (two versions)

I ran by the famous NEST stadium. I took a picture. On the way back to the village I ran by a commercial, which also includes a picture of the NEST stadium. Unfortunately, I am not as good at photoshopping. But hey, it is entirely possible that I will see the sky that blue here one day (or is it?).

Dear Zuzana,
It's good to hear you are there, in the centre of the world. And those detailed posts...everybody at Langara knows about you. And I can't say enough about the pictures. Keep them coming. One thing is to hear about it in the news and another to have somebody yours experiencing it first hand.
Best of luck.
Talk to you

Zuzana,

It's fun reading your blog! Thank you for posting pictures too. You will get use to the humidity. It takes time--trust me. I lived in severe humidity the majority of my life. Drink plenty of water, nap more (humidity makes me feel more tired than usual), and remember every marathon runner will have to experience what you are going through with the heat, humidity, and pollution. You are ready to go! I wouldn't worry about workout times until you get in a routine and get used to the humidity. My workouts are always slower in the humidity, but then I run fast in the races. You will adjust soon. Just relax and enjoy yourself!

Thanks for all your comments you guys. I sure appreciate staying connected. Did not know there are some running fans in the psychology department! And Kyle-thanks so much for the movie you left for me before I left. I am saving it for that perfect evening when I just feel like a good movie.
